FAKE calls

Dear Sir,

On April 05, 2012, in the afternoon I received a call from some Ms. Anu Aggarwal (number 08459407673) stating that she was calling from IRDA (Insurance regulating athority) and it was a verification call. She said that I had some Rs 2 lacs with IRDA and that money is being claimed by a thrid person (Neeraj Verma, who claimed to be legal advisor of mine).

She said "if you have not authorized him (Neeraj) to claim that money, then you will have to speak to her senior fund manager Mr. A.P. Mukharji and you would need to get that file held for further processing. You would need to buy a policy of Rs 55000 as a security to get that money to your account." That person will register you on Policy baazar.com for policy and you just buy a policy.

I did not rely on them and just denied to buy any policy.

I just want to confirm who are they and if they are not genuine... how they can do this so openly.

Please take some action or contact me if this was true.
