DiET 50T a historic design blunder
I purchased DiET 50T cooler from Symphony, with lot of expectation. The dealer convinced that "It is the World’s lagest tower cooler and we would not have to worry about filling water in it". Just after 10 days our harrowing experience started. The wheels started coming out and slowely it... became so frequent that most of the time we were fixing the wheels instead of getting cool air.
You can’t imagine what can happen when the wheel of cooler having 45-50 ltrs of water comes out. Because of its tower structure it tumbles and can fell on you with great force. Once a wheel come out it become extremely difficult to fix as the others come out, if you try to lift it from one side.
It is very sad that a company like Symphony can launch such a product without testing for all such conditions.
Their service people are so nice to tell you clearly that the cooler can not work with its full load and can support only half of it. Though the 50 ltr. capacity is its USP.
I have taken up the matter with their sr. management to take corrective action. Despite their service people openly accepting that it has a design fault they have not taken any corrective action except repalcing the wheel, which are going to face the same fate in another 15 days.
I have created a community page on facebook i.e "DiET cooler complaint" so as to get the experience of all others who are facing this problem. You can also send complaints at [email protected], which would be compiled collectively.
Let all of us show the world what consumers can do if they are united. Write your complaints(specially legs i.e design fault) about DiET 50T cooler and we would make the company realise that they can’t get away from their responsibility towards consumers. They should give replacement to all customers. |
