Good evening. I am sending a complaint to you regarding deficiency of service. The story goes like this. I travelled in a state government bus from AVC Collge to Mayiladuthurai. The bus belongs to TamilNadu government Kumbakonam region and depot SirKazhi. The registration and route number of the bus is TN-49- 1841 and 384. I seated on the back side and along with college students. The house was not full. I waited for the conductor to get tickets and he never came to back side. At one stage, checking inspectors boarded the bus and asked for the ticket. When the conductor came to the back side I asked him for the ticket and he told me that he handed it over to one of the checking inspectors. I told them about the matter but they did not oblige and asked me why you have not asked for the ticket. The conductor also told me about the same. It is the duty of the conductor to ask for the tickets. Since the bus was not full as the college students have passes for travelling the conductor sat in the front. He never came to the rear side. The checking inspectors told me to pay the fine and I was forced to part with a fine of INR 205. Arguments ensued and finally I payed the fine. They treated with politely and my appreciations for them. They told me that all have bought tickets and you are the only one to travel without a ticket. My pleas were not heeded. I have to hang my head in shame for not buying the ticket as it not my fault. The conductor of the bus is failed to perform his duty in issuing tickets to passengers. Can my case is considered for filing a complaint with you. I am attaching the copy of the bill given to me.
