I am Mrs. Savithri, a post graduate teacher of English. After using TVS Scooty for 11 years, I wanted to buy a new scooter. My friends and family suggested Honda Activa as it is a sturdy vehicle and fits my body condition (I suffer from Cervical Sponidilitis).
So we have booked Activa (Black) model from your Honda Company on 10-3-2011 through Erode dealer, The Noble Motors of Tamil Nadu state. We paid Rs 1000/- towards first payment and Rs 4000/- as second payment and received temporary receipts (No. 13005, 13006) and a confirmation receipt (No. 1485). The receipts mention that we can avail the delivery after 14 weeks (3.5 months approx.). When we approached the dealer on 16-6-2011 about the date of delivery, the official representing the dealer said that it may take another 15 days or a month and further spelt out that the confirmation receipt is not a promise and cannot assure us a date/ time of delivery even after those fifteen days. He boldly challenges us that even if we take the matter to the consumer court, he is not bothered of it.
Leaving such things apart the main sour point that sticks out is while other firms such as the TVS, Hero, Mahindra are providing spot delivery why not your company? If you say that there is more demand, why can’t you enhance your supply capacity? The next question is that, how a reputed company, like yours that has established its name in the Indian soil as a collaborative company with another well known company of India such as the ‘Hero’, is not in a position to deliver a vehicle after 3 months/ 14 weeks of booking.
First of all, if your plant is not in a position to deliver a vehicle at the allotted time why should you allow your dealers to take money as a payment prior to the delivery and make such a confirmation receipt/ promise. Does the firm really need a time period of 3 months to manufacture a vehicle and deliver it? What happens to the money (Rs 5000/-) that we make as first payment and second payment? Are you going to pay the interest towards it? As an individual payment it may be meager. If collectively taken, the dealer may receive a lakh or two per month. How is it utilized?
There are so many such disturbing questions. It is/ is going to be a black mark on the customer service satisfaction part. Already your competitive companies allege that you are creating an artificial demand so that the public will think that yours is the best. It is not a lone complaint that you can keep apart or look down. There are many more mute voices around who do not find time or courage to voice out. We are expecting a quick and benefitting reply from your company.
I write this, because such things do not reach the main company as such. Waiting for a meaningful and responsible reply.

I bought active from nisarg motor palanpur on 15-12-2011.there after every time I gave my active for service at universal Honda paldi Ahmedabad 7.previously I am not satisfied (3time service) but today my 4th free service so I give for service but unfortunately some one dipak parmar not accepted my vehicle, every time they inform us for service management this time they forget and denies

Dear Sir,
I had purchased Activa DLX from M/s Sandeep Autos , Leela Bhawan, Patiala on 07.2.2011 vide invoice no. 12866. Particulars of the vehicle are:-
Chassis no. ME4JC44 8AB 8060807
Engine No. JC44E 1171630
Battery No. Exide No. 25A1122011
Battery of the vehicle started giving trouble from day one. I approached Dealer for rectifying the problem or replacement of battery. After a number of visits, the battery was removed and sent to M/S Exide. After a few days M/s Exide returned the battery with the remarks that the same is O.K. and replacement was not possible. Accordingly the battery was re-fitted. However, battery continued to trouble me. During every service, I pointed out this problem but no action was taken. On 11.01.2012, I went to M/s Lyallpur Motors, Rajpura Road, Patiala for rectification of fault. During check-up, I was told that battery needs replacement and I should approach M/S Exide directly. Necessary papers were prepared and I went to M/S Exide where I was told that the battery is not the same as fitted on the original vehicle and the same appears to have been replaced. I was asked to approach the daler for the original battery so that replacement could be affected.
I talked to Mr. Vijay Kumar Works Manager of M/s Sandeep Autos on the issue who showed his helplessness
From the above it is clear that original battery was replaced with duplicate one at M/S Sandeep Autos for which I am being harassed.
I request you intervene and direct the dealer to replace the battery at the earliest to avoid further agony.

i had booked an activa black on 9 tn December 2010 in vahini motors, kollam.At the time of booking the dealer committed that it will be delivered within 6 months. Till time not responding from dealer-side, So please do the needful to deliver the vehicle with immediate affect

Last day i was visit at your showroom of Honda at sector 43 Chandigarh.
First of All there is no respond to me after half an hour when i query about Honda Activa i don't got any good response and when i ask about any competitor brand they clear refuse and told me that we are HONDA. but in today's time no body is monopoly because once a time when Kinetic was the market leader, Market was replaced. if this type of the atitude of your service i think when any another competitor click then in a some shot period market will be replaced. same time i have decided that we will not purchase the Activa. Secondly your banker is also doing the cheating they don't tell the hidden charges. Which is also one of the reason affected your brand.

I HAVE BOOKED HONDA ACTIVA WITH PRATIKH HONDA VASHI SECTOR 29, ON 31ST SEPTEMBER 2011. EVEN AFTER PERSONALLY ENQUIRING WITH OFFICILS OF SHOW ROOM OF PRATIK HONDA AT VASHI,ENQUIRING WITH MR PARVEJ JAMADAR SUPERVISOR AND OTHER STAFF, I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN DELIVERY OF THE HONDA ACTIVA TILL DATE. I GOT MAIL FROM MR PARVEJ JAMADAR ON 18TH SEPTEMBER 2012 TO COME ON 27 TH SEPTEMBER 2012 TO TAKE DELIVERY OF HONDA ACTIVA, BUT WHEN I REACHED SHOW ROOM OF PRATIK HONDA ON 27 TH SEPTEMBER 2012,I WAS TOLD BY MR PARVEJ JAMADAR AND MISS NAZIA THAT NOW THE WILL DELIVER HONDA ACTIVA TO ME ON 02ND OCTOBER 2012. I WOULD REQUEST AUTHORITIES TO ORDER M/S PRATIK HONDA VASHI TO GIVE DELIVERY IMMEDIATELY.
