Hi, I am Sreeedhar i had Airtel connection of 9880756884 which i was using it for more then 3yrs, which i had brought it for life time validty.

However since company had given me one more connection had both the numbers. Airtel connection was used only for personal calls.
20-May-2011 Airtel directly recycled my number without disconnection, after calling up the callcenter/helpdesk desk i understand that if the number is not used for 3 months it will get recycled which is totally valid,

I explained that Last call which i received on that number is on 07-May-2011 .7.15pm, which i have record on my friends mobile bill. in that case my number is still under use.

After explaning serveral time stating it was not ideal for 3months Airtel changed the statement that you have to re charge every month, please read terms & conditions.

Terms & conditions do not say about direct recycle. with out notice.

Fine i did not recharged but used as incoming only, but since it was a life time validity as a unstanding kept only for incoming

However my question is how can they recycle the number with out the disconnection ..?
Airtel should recycle only after disconnection & some notice period.

Here what i understand is that for layman, life time validty means he can use the incomming calls with out outgoing, i can understand that so many ppl would be cheated..? one or the other way. think of volume of the connections.

When i asked y dint Airtel send me alerts about my number recycle .they never had any answer. - Airtel has repeated alert msg & recorded calls on ads, ringtones, promotions,etc but not on recycles.

I have spoken to so many TL, Mangers but no use & it was waste of my time & my regert to use the Airtel connection.

I am not expection anything out of this just sharing my experience.

People please be alert there are big ppl who make profit which is small amount for us.
How honestly we all check if 1 rupee is deducted from our account...? Answer will no.!!! asume 1ruppe deducted on 1,00,00,000 connections per day ....? its a big money ..

Note: Incase you have 2nd number only for income please recharge every month..
