HIGH HANDEDNESS AND OVERCHARGE BY HIND ELECTROMECH - DEALER

Once again with great disdain I appeal to the management in Honda to come to my rescue. 12 days ago I contacted the personnel at Hind Electromech to visit my residence as the Generator had ceased to operate. The tehnician visited charged Rs.600/- and we were informed that all is ok with the genset,only the mobil needed a change. Further we were informed that since the genset is idle and not used daily, it would be better to start and stop every 4-7 days . After 5 days we started the genset,but again it did not work.
I raised another compain with Hind Electromech : C.No. 8320 Dt. 16.8.2011, the technician visited, the residence and asked for us to bring the genset to their workshop on GC Avenue. The same was done on 18.08.2011 - Job No. 825.I receive a call from Hind Electromech on 19.08.2011 saying that it will roughly cost Rs.6000 to repair, apparently some valve has gone bad and the petrol tank has gotten rusted etc etc. This was not pointed when the engineer had visited on the first occasion, infact it was explained that the genset was fine, only a mobil change was required. No suddenly within a span of x number of days ,multiple problems have arisen. I am further being asked to visit their shop to see what charges would be levied.
These are new ways to fleece the customer, something that was running fine 10 days ago now is a piece of junk. And customers like cattle need to follow the trend where ever the dealer demands. I have no objections in paying a charge to repair the genset,but certainly feel that the said amount of 5000 or 6000 has been inflated to fleece us.
I plead to the higher management to come to my rescue and kinly intervene in the matter at the earliest,
