Mandatory extra-fittings
Sir,
I have booked an Activa scooter in advance as Rs.1000 to the dealer-Fortune Motors Pvt ltd, HO-10-11,G 01,Lala 1 landmark,5-4-94,MG road, Secunderabad dated 22-08-2011.
Later,I have received a call on 18-11-2011 from the dealer informing me to pay the balance payment after which the delievery will be within 7 days. When I approached the dealer regarding this, they told me to pay Rs.1500-2000 extra for the fitting charges and its mandatory. I just want to confirm whether this instruction is given by the company or not. If not, kindly intimate the dealers not to impose such conditions on customers.

the same practice has been started by b u bhandari in pune. i hope the company has not given them free hand to do so.
Either the company acts against them or a complaint be registered with COMMISSIONER MONOPOLY RESTRICTIVE TRADE PRACTISES(MRTP)
