RUPTURE OF ACID TANK CAUSING 9000L ACID SPLIT AND BURNS TO OPERATOR.

Tank was purchased in Dec'07.
Tank was installed on June'09 and was operational since Sept'09.
The tank was used for storage of sulphuric acid.

On 12th Sept,the tank filled with 9000 L of Sulphuric acid blasted and entire acid was spilled around.

The operator nearby the tank got serious burns due the this rupture and is in hospital since then with his condition critical.
We are attaching herewith photographs of the ruptured tank.The possible cause of the blast may be usage of sub standard material in making the tank.

We need below claims from supplier:

1.Cost of 9000L of Sulphuric acid drained due to this rupture.
2.Replacement of superior quality acid tank.
3.Claim that is due to the operator against this accident.
