I HAVE APPLIED PASSPORT ON 26.08.2011 and my police verification is done on 4.11.2011.

ON 2.12.2011 I GOT A LETTER FROM RPO KOLKATA FOR SOME CLARIFICATION AND SEND ME A LETTER WITHOUT STAMP.

MY HARASSEMENT STARTS WHEN I WENT TO MEET RPO, I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO MEET HIM AS MY LETTER HAVE NO STAMP.

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE WORKING OVER THERE WHO HAVE NO IDEA THAT AN OFFICIAL LETTER NEED TO BE SEND WITH STAMP.

IT IS ALLREADY 4 MONTHS I HAVE NOT GOT THE PASSPORT.

AS AN INDIAN CITIZEN I SHOULD NOT BE HARASSED IN GETTING MY OWN IDENTITY.

FROM A CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ORGANISATION SUCH KIND OF ACTIVITIES ARE NOT ATALL EXPECTED.

KINDLY HELP ME TO GET MY PASSPORT

Yes, I have face the same problem. In the month of Dec,2011 the status show that my passport will dispatch by 26th Dec,2011. But after the mentioned date when check the status then show that "It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time". But still I am not getting my passport.

I am Madhumita Saha,My fathers name Subhash Ch Saha, File no CAL-A076522-11 and Application Date : 02-08-2011,Passport office said -"Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by 06-01-2012" one month ago. Subject to all documents being in order"but todays date 01.02.2012.and my father have not got the passport.All decsions postpond for this issuance of passport.I shall be very much grateful if you kindly arranged above this matter.Thanking you.

I Gayatri Jhunjhunwala have applied for passport on 27-12-2011.All
the verification has been done including police enquiry ,where I have
been given my key no. 6512963711 and file no. A129637.
Online status is showing that it will be delivered within a weeks time.
,but it has been since 6 months that my passport has not been
delivered .
please look into the matter so that my passport is delivered as soon as
possible.
