Yesterday I have boarded the TNSTC bus at 5.10 PM (bus coming from Tanjore) at Neyveli Arch for coming to Tambaram. My ticket no. is 061989 dt. 31.05.2011. On reaching Vikhravandi at around 6..20 PM, the driver turned the vehicle in the wrong side (NO ENTRY) from Kumbakonam-Chennai Road to reach out to the roadside Hotel (Hotel Udaya) which is by the side of the flyover towards Villupuram side and adjacent to GMR Toll Plaza. After wasting nearly 20 to 25 minutes in the Hotel, the bus started for Chennai.

It is totally unfair on the part of bus crew to risk the lives of nearly 50 passengers for the sake of free tiffin provided to them by the wayside hotels. I have told the Conductor that this matter would be brought to the notice of the Department, as accidents had occurred in the past whilst turning from one end to another, in the past and the driver driving the vehicle in the wrong side is totally unfair.

I would request the authorities concerned to take cognizance of this complaint and warn the concerned driver to desist from such a practice at least in future.

A line in confirmation would be highly appreciated.

Aranthangi to Erode via Tiruputhur,Singampunari,Dindigul bus 11.04.2012 Driver,Conductor have me poor response. Kalappur is main bus stop, all of the buses are (includingErode bus) stoping here. But that driver, conductor are not stoped. Please to take action.

the conductor who is the incharge in the date 18-2-2012, in the route madurai to sivagangai , he didn't give balance amount to the passengers and he talk with anamulous words... it harm the passengers in the mind region.... And bus no: TN 63 N 1476.... kindly give a suitable justice to that passenger.......

dear sir during rainy season in most of buses incl., new ones rain water leak from top hood is noticed.the authorities in charge of depots should themselves travel in such buses and find out whether the complaint is true or not.kindly reply to my id.innithyanandam

TNSTC kumbakonam division buses proceeding towards Thanjavur , kumbakonam, mayiladuthuri & chidambaran, Karaikal can introduce bye pass rider buses ( 1 to 1) to minimise travel time within 1 hr between Trichy & thanjavur.
All private players are prefering all bye pass routes and skip local passengers.

TNSTC to consider bye pass rider- 1 to1 0r end to end buses between trichy & thanjavur to earn more revenue and kill private operators.

Similarly Thanjavur to Kumbakonam & Thanjavur to pattukottai also to be upgraded as point to point services to minimise travel time.

Hope that management of TNSTC consider this for the benefit of passengers

I am a businessman in Tanjore and also Secretary Nk Industrial Estate,
To day I comming to your bus from Chennai dep.time at 8.45am Bus no. TN 68 N0384. Shown on your bus Express but worst operate even town bus and pick passenger also each stop even though chakrapplli bus stop also! till not reach Tanjore.
Actually no time schedule for bus?
It will happened take necessary action and little bit answer for complaint.
Thank you and your immediate action in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Sir i have booked a ticket in reservation counter Mannargudi, Thiruvarur DT today and I have request them to book seat number 3&4 but they are refused to book that seat numbers even though it is available. They said our higher officials instructed us it will be allotted to Disabled only. Is there any circular sent regarding this? I believe, conductors and the employees are joint together and do not book front seats till travelling date and sell this tickets on that day with higher cost and they are all share the extra amount collected from the passengers. It is routine affair from the Kumbakonam circle.
