Taxi refuse to ply
It is noticed that the traffic jams on Mumbai roads is increasing. One of the main reason is refusal by Auto Rickshaws and Taxis specially for short distance.

The RTO authorities may kindly find solution for short distance commuters to avoid inconvenience to normal public.

this is true that the main reason for refusal by Auto Rickshaws and Taxis are specially for short distance.
i don't know why they cant take in passengers for short distances, even they refuse customers because the destination where the passanger wants to reach are not of their choice. the drivers are so arrogant that they say we are going in another direction, and wont come in the direction where the passenges needs to go.
when angry commuters (after getting refused by a no. of taxis/rikshaws) shouts at road to stop tthe taxi/ rikshaw, some drivers act like they are going to halt some distance away form where the commuter is standing and speeds up when the commuter walks towards them.
